Shipping & Delivery

You can choose between free Click & Collect in-store or a $5 delivery fee for shipping.

  • Delivery Times:
    • Metropolitan areas: 2-5 business days
    • Greater metropolitan areas: 5-8 business days

Click & Collect:

Pick up your order from Eyewear Youwear, 5/285A Crown Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010. You’ll be notified when your order is ready for pickup during normal store hours. Just bring your order confirmation.

Shipping Policy

We aim to deliver your order quickly, but sometimes there can be delays. If an item is out of stock, we’ll contact you with an updated delivery estimate and other options.

If your order hasn’t arrived within 8 business days and you haven’t been contacted, we’ll follow up.

Some contact lenses are in stock, while others are custom-made, which may affect delivery time.

Delivery Details

  • Tracking: We use tracked Australia Post or courier services.
  • Signature: Some deliveries require a signature, so it’s best to have someone available at the delivery address.
  • If you’re unavailable, your parcel may be left at your local post office. If it’s not collected in time, it’ll be returned to us, and we’ll contact you to arrange a solution.

Note: We only deliver within Australia.

Postage Fee

Postage fee’s is $15.00 for Sunglasses and Optical frames and $5.00 for contact lenses.


Returns and Exchanges

Returns & Exchanges Policy

At EWYW, we’re committed to ensuring you love your eyewear. Our returns policy is designed to balance customer care with the unique nature of custom and personal fit products like frames and contact lenses.

Contact Lenses

We don’t offer refunds, but if your prescription changes and you have unopened boxes of contact lenses, we can exchange them for contact lenses that match your new prescription, as long as:

  • You bought them online from us within the last 60 days.
  • You provide proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation).
  • The boxes are unopened, undamaged, and have at least 6 months before the expiry date.

We don’t offer exchanges or returns if you change your mind.

If your contact lenses are faulty, you are covered by Australian Consumer Law. We’ll help resolve the issue.

Returns Process

To return or exchange contact lenses:

  1. Contact us at (02) 9267 4099 or info@eyewearyouwear.com.au.
  2. Repack the contact lenses in their original packaging, making sure they’re protected from damage.
  3. Either return the contact lenses by mail or bring them to the shop. Return shipping is at your own expense.
  4. The contact lenses must be unopened, undamaged, and free from markings (unless defective).

Once we receive the return, we’ll assess it and contact you with the next steps. You should receive your exchange within 7-10 business days.

We’re not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Frames, Sunglasses & Spectacles

For frames, sunglasses, and spectacles (purchased online or in-store), please note the following:

  • Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect choice, or if you are unsure about your purchase. This includes cases where frames are purchased online to try on at home.
  • Exchanges & Store Credit: If you would like to exchange your frames for another style or size, or receive a store credit, we’re happy to assist, provided the frames are:
    • Unworn and unused
    • In original condition with all packaging and tags attached
    • Returned to us within 14 days of purchase
  • Prescription Contact Lenses: Custom prescription contact lenses are made to order and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, unless there is a fault covered under the Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty Products

In line with the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if the product you purchased is faulty, defective, or not as described. This does not cover damage caused by misuse or accidental breakage.
